With the highest esteem and respect to the mandate of the electorates of the City of Vallejo, I wish to congratulate the victors in the recent City Council election. I have lost my bid for the same position, but as a member of their constituent, and a prospective beneficiary of their forthcoming services, I share a part of their victory and have to celebrate with them in dignity and not in despair.

If you happen to be on the losing end of a competition, you could find solace and comfort in this glorious quotation: “ The greatest victory of a man is not won in never falling, but in rising everytime he falls.” Treasuring the deeper implication of this phrase, I share with you, fellow electorates, the relaxing message that there is victory in defeat. Yes, for losing, I was made a rightful beneficiary of a greater victory ahead.

In closing, I wish to convey my profound gratitude to all those who have given their invaluable support and contributions during my campaign. Please understand that I will always treasure to enlist your indespendable cooperation toward the realization of a greater victory in the future. Thanking you once again, please permit me to invoke the blessings of our good Lord, to shower on you and your beloved family the best of everything!

Sincerely yours,

Oscar Patacsil Estioko,Sr

To my fellow "Kababayans",

I am not really into politics but I just want to bring this out on how I feel about Oscar Estioko.

This is my personal feelings on Oscar Estioko, I know that this is his 4th time (if I am not mistaken) to run for the councilor of Vallejo.

He is running again for the councilor of Vallejo because he has a good purpose and he has a lot of platforms that he can go by and use it. He has a good purpose and he can represent the Filipino as well as the community of Vallejo.

He is a Filipino that has courage and bravery. I say that because some of us who are also qualified to run for the council never think to run. Is that because some are only good in criticizing others who are running for the candidacy? That is why Oscar Estioko is here again to run for the council because nobody else is brave enough to be a candidate.

He is always trying his best to run for the councilor position to win.  This is because he knows that he can help others and the community if he wins a position as a member of the city council.

Lastly, I am giving you an example. When he was working in the VA (Veterans Administration) Martinez, California he helped a lot of veterans. Mainly he helped veterans who were applying for their disability benefits and that was including me.

And there are still a lot of veterans who are still looking for him even though he is already retired from VA. So, meaning to say that he can still continue helping others by winning this coming election on November 6, 2007. Let us help Oscar Estioko to win and be a member of the city council tomorrow. GOD Bless.

Thank you my fellow countrymen,

Cris Enriquez
